Accidental Mothers Day

Sometimes you just have to pick up your camera and shoot. I learned that from my dad who takes his camera everywhere! Seriously, he always has one with him! So the other day my mom and were out looking for an adventure. So we went for a hike at Arabia. It was an absolutely beautiful day.

I think I'm going to take out some time and write about my mom. My mother is great. She makes me laugh so hard. We spend the past two weeks by ourselves and it was really fun. Her spontaneity inspires me. I strive to have even just a ounce of the optimism that she carries with her at ALL times. Her wisdom is at times hard to receive, but I usually find that it is very truthful. She is very determined, I'm so proud of her. What 53 year old woman runs a 5k on her birthday and practices every night to eventually do 100 pushups? She is amazing and I hope to be like that when I get to be her age!

To mom: I love you very much, and I just remembered that mothers day is next week so... it looks like mothers day came early. = )
